Ginger, Zingiber officinalis (1613). Ginger has a warm, spicy and familiar aroma. A powerful antiseptic and stimulant, it provides a beneficial support to the respiratory, circulatory and digestive systems. Try a few drops on a hankie if you're on choppy seas! It also soothes the muscles after strenuous workouts, and can be blended well with any citrus oil, and Geranium, Sandalwood or Ylang Ylang. Ginger is strongly associated with the digestive system. It soothes and warms the muscles and is renowned for its powerful, antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
